Over a year ago, there was an ‘American Idol’-style contest to come up with ideas for great Mac OS X applications, My Dream App. One of the winners of the contest turned out to be my favorite: a program that displays the weather and time of day as the background on your desktop.<\/p>\n
After not hearing about it for over a year, I checked up on it yesterday. It turns out there is a demonstration version out, but it’s a bitter disappointment. No weather simulation, which was really the most interesting part of it. The daylight simulation also seems a bit whacked up.
